Cleaned out some adware problems that I was having. Like the new user interface too. I am going to be upgrading soon. Thanks a lot for the great service.

Bon antivirus

I can’t down load this up-date have reported the problem, now going on three weeks ,have the work number that states will be contacted in 24 hours still no reply.

Do not buy this software - Scam! Also, worst customer service ever. I have a brand new macbook air - bought in april 2014. It was infected with a friend’ usb (I know, I know!) So, I bought this software thinking that the $12 would be worth it. Worst purchase ever. First, the full scan when arrives to 100% completion jams for about 2 hours. Then, when we reboot your computer, and re-do a scan for 4 times, the software tells you that there’s no detection of no virus or malware - In my case, that’s totally impossible as I have pop-ups opening all the time. When contacting Customer Service, they’re so stubborn they tell you that your computer has no virus - once again, in my case that is totally impossible. Total cash gray… do not buy! You can find waaaaaay better out there. I have a small cie, and trust me that we are not ever again going to download anything from this scam.

If you would like to waste $25 I would suggest you can send your money to me. I purchased this program and IT DID NOTHING. I resolved my problem (it was infected with a virus) for free by following directions off of the internet. GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE.

Could not detect any virus that other antivirus software could. It remains open but no file or logo is shown that it is open. Since it remains open, it makes it impossible to uninstall. I want my money back!

THIS IS A TOTALLY USELESS PRODUCT. APPLE SHOULD TEST IT AND TAKE IT OFF THE APP STORE. THEY ARE DEFRAUDING CUSTOMERS.

I have just tested this app against 189 different samples of Mac malware. How many of them did it identify as malicious? NONE! That’s correct, not a single one. The app is a complete fraud, and I will be reporting this to Apple as such.

Took nearly 24 hours to scan my computer and still couldnt identify the issue. Now its off to the tech guys, which I should have done in the first place.

wont even let me click the "clean" icon. always saying clean failed..

waste of money. takes forever to scan. doesn’t help with anything

I bought this because my computer was swamped with viruses, but when i did a scan, it said my computer was clean. don’t get this.

Malware got on my computer and I downloaded Max Secure. It was absolutely useless. It did nothing! It scanned my computer and said it did not find any viruses although malware was everywhere. Total waste of money. I saw a review of ClamXav, which is free. I downloaded that app instead and removed Max Secure. ClamXav worked immediately!!

THIS MAY BE A SCAM!! I wanted to know why you couldn’t schedule a Full Scan. They kept asking for my Registration Key, which they did not give me, and there was no place to enter it if they had. Then they kept insisting that I give them remote access to my computer to tell me if you could schedule a Full Scan or not! When I refused they stopped communicating with me.

This new version of Max Secure Anti-Virus works like a charm. Removed all viruses on my Mac quickly and resolved all issues I was having. Highly recommended!

I was the one having problems with recurrent pop-up ads on my Mac. I manually found and deleted a bunch of adware and still had the problem. I used this app after finding it on the App Store, and it cleared all my problems. Had contacted the customer support a few days back to understand why the scans were taking longer, they helped me out within a couple of hours. The product is improving with regular updates on the App Store and live database updates. I would recommed this for other Mac users as well. It is definitely useful for additional security.

Bought it because I had issues with Trovi and CinemaPro adware. After scan the issue was not solved. Managed to remove it using the Apple guidelines found on Apple web site. Waste of 25 bucks :(

My 2014 Mac running OS X El Capitan was invaded by malware. I spent 24.99 $ on Antivirus by MaxSecure in hope that my problem will be solved. After a full scan the malware was not detected and the problem did persist. I had to do a clean install in order to solve the issue with the ransomware which was taken over my Mac.

I am very disappointed with this software. It didn’t detect the problem as promised and I am out $25.

i have had nothing but trouble with this product it scans and tells me i have 2 viruses or threats the(trojen americana)virus then it will not do anything about it i hit the clean button and nothing happens/then my mouse pointer goes haywire and i cant control it,when i tried to put it into the trash it refuses to go and a cloud apears around the application icon and it returns to the dock/i take it out and it returns i take it out and it returns over andover with my mouse becoming more irratic with each attempt
