Not good when you have malware issue

My 2014 Mac running OS X El Capitan was invaded by malware. I spent 24.99 $ on Antivirus by MaxSecure in hope that my problem will be solved. After a full scan the malware was not detected and the problem did persist.
I had to do a clean install in order to solve the issue with the ransomware which was taken over my Mac.
